At the moment, I’m all about the charm of the handmade and one-of-a-kind. It all started with some of the presents given to our baby boy, Ivo. Ahead of his birth, my mother-in-law knitted a cardigan and hat set, and a yellow woollen blanket. Then his great-aunt personalised a blanket for him with his name embroidered in blue. Neither are machine-perfect, and that’s what makes them so enchanting and touching. These baby onesies and blankets from Oncle Hope have the same charm. They’re hand-stamped on organic cotton, making each one individual and kooky. Shop owners, Helena and Bego are both mothers, and they create their designs from their studio in Barcelona in Spain. I just love their style! Prices from approximately £20 for a baby bodysuit. Don’t miss their blog, Casa e Cose.
